Kia ora whānau,

Happy New Year and welcome back! I hope the new year has been kind to you so far and that you have already ticked one of your new year’s resolutions off the list. My family and I spent 3 weeks in the USA travelling to some major cities. My favourite part was Washington DC and making it to 2 NBA games! It is so important to take the time to just stop and reset at the end of each year.

Matua Taffy has kept the school looking great over the holidays. We are making a new scooter and bike park by the side gate (next to Kūkūwai and Ōpouira). The teachers are in setting up their classes in readiness for the children to return to school life.

The Tari – Office will be open on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th 9am – 12pm. To confirm a time with the office please email office@knightsstream.school.nz

Any Year 4- 8 students that need to enrol their iPads there is an opportunity on Friday from 9am – 12pm. Information about this has been sent out via HERO.

All term dates can be found on the school website. Please make sure you plan school events in your diaries! The first key date is the Whānau Connection and FoS Picnic Night on Friday 7 February. I have attached more information below for you.

We welcome our new kaimahi (staff) to the team in 2025.

A warm welcome to all the new families that start on day one.
