Hi everyone and welcome back to Term 1, 2021!
The FoS hope you had an amazing break and came back well-rested. We are excited to get into the swing of things this year with (hopefully) minimal disruptions! Despite a few hurdles last year, together with the support of our whanau and community we raised over $12,000 to help towards new resources, events or activities for the school and our tamariki.
This term we have the Family Picnic night to look forward to, a parents event and a couple of lunchtime sausage sizzles for the kids!
Family Picnic Night
On Friday 12 February we are hosting a Family Picnic night.
Please bring along a picnic blanket and bring your dinner out on the lawn at KSS with your whānau. This is a chance to meet other families and make new friends.
There will be bouncy castles for the kids to play on, Mr Whippy will be around to treat yourself to ice cream and we have an amazing balloon artist coming to create some magic!
There will also be a coffee van.
And did someone say LOLLY SCRAMBLE?!
When: Friday 12 February, from 5pm to 6.30pm.
Lunchtime Sausage Sizzle
On the 17th of February, we will be providing a lunchtime sausage sizzle.
You can pre-purchase your sausages for $2 by filling out the form below and either transferring funds directly to the Friends of School bank account or bringing your cash to Hayley in the office during the below outlined times. The office will not be accepting any cash so please only come during the times listed below.

Please note there will be no sales made on the day as we need to pre-purchase the sausages.

Nothing Naughty Protein Bar Fundraiser
Later this term we will be having a protein bar fundraiser, the best part? There is nothing naughty about them! You can purchase them in boxes of 10 for $25, with profit going back to the Friends of School.
There will be more to come out about these closer to the time.
FOS Meetings
We have a meeting on the 1st and 29th of March, these are held in the Ruma Kaimahi (staffroom) and run from 7pm to 8pm, for those keen to join, we generally then meet down at The Long Knight for an informal catch up from 8pm.
2021 Goals?
We will discuss these at our first meeting on the 1st of March, we welcome everyone along to these meetings and you are also more than welcome to bring along friends and whanau.
