Level 4 Alert – 17 July

Kia ora Whānau,

As you are now aware the Prime Minister has just activated a Level 4 Lockdown by 11.59 pm today. We are all required to self-isolate for 3 days.

This means school is closed from Wednesday 18 – Friday 20 July. This includes a full closure of the school grounds.

We understand the disruption and level of anxiety this can cause. The staff are preparing for home learning activities via Blogs and Seesaw. The teachers will do their best to ensure we support parents with distance learning activities over the next 3 days that are low level and easy to manage. Like 2020, you do what you can when you can. Communication about online learning will be available tomorrow.

If you require any further support please let your whānau teacher know. I will be in touch when more information comes from the Ministry of Education.

We have been here before team… and we can do this!

Kia Kaha, be kind and stay safe everyone.
